Laser Resurfacing Treatments

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatment

The intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment, or photofacial, uses a broad spectrum light to remove age spots, redness, and other pigmentation. This type of therapy offers a non-surgical way to improve your skin’s complexion or texture. It can also reverse the some of visible damage caused by sun exposure.

What To Expect

Intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments are completely non-invasive, requiring little downtime and no surgery or injections. Patients should avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, waxing, chemical peels, and other activities that our staff will inform you about two weeks prior to your treatment.

How It Works

It works by using light energy to target a certain color in your skin by sending out multiple wavelengths utilizing pulsating light. Some clients report a slight stinging during the procedure likened to that of being snapped with a rubber band.

The Results

This treatment option is designed for younger-looking skin with quick recovery.

Pixel Laser Treatment

The Pixel laser treatment can be used for sun-damaged skin or uneven skin tones to restore a more radiant complexion. It also targets acne scars, large pores, and age spots to provide clearer skin. It can also smooth out some fine lines and wrinkles.

What To Expect

Recovery following a pixel laser treatment can take up to two weeks. It is advised that you properly care for your skin following instructions that will be provided to you. Visible results will begin to appear once your skin has begun to fully heal.

How It Works

Pixel laser treatments create controlled micro-damage on a small portion of the skin’s surface, leaving the surrounding skin intact and speeding up the recovery process.

Pixel vs. Fraxel

Both of these fractionally ablative laser treatment options treat similar issues and work in similar ways. However, pixel laser treatment is not recommended for people with dark skin tones and fraxel laser treatment is not recommended for those with brown or olive skin as there is a higher risk of causing hyperpigmentation.

ClearLift

ClearLift, aka the “lunchtime facelift”, is our non-ablative laser therapy treatment option that requires little downtime and provides virtually painless results. This option is gentle enough to address areas that are typically too sensitive for other ablative laser treatments such as the areas around the mouth, eyes, neck, and chest. It provides dramatic improvement to fine lines, wrinkles, small vein appearance, acne and other scars, redness, and loose or saggy skin.

What To Expect

The ClearLift treatment is our quickest skin resurfacing option, requiring as little as twenty minutes to complete. No topical numbing is needed and client’s are able to immediately return to their daily routine after the treatment.

How It Works

During the treatment, a controlled dermal wound is created deep beneath the skin’s surface. This leaves the outer layer of skin undamaged. All healing and skin repair occurs under the intact epidermis

Who Can Get It

The ClearLift laser therapy treatment can generally be used on all skin types. We offer a free consultation in which we can discuss more about your eligibility for this option.

The place is very clean and I am always able to come in on a lunch knowing I will be seen right away and not wait. The staff takes the time to answer any questions and explain things.
